Change the pattern.

Keep your power.

Therapy for women who understand their patterns but feel stuck in them and are ready to change them for good. You've mastered the art of holding it all together. Now let's heal what's underneath.

When surviving comes natural, but thriving creates unease.

  • You apologize before you've done anything wrong

  • You feel responsible for everyone else's emotions & are exhausted by it

  • You brace yourself when things feel too good, waiting for something to go wrong

  • You know your past is showing up in your present - you just haven't had the space to deal with it

  • You're ready to break the cycle

  • You are not broken. You are not too much. And you are not alone.

Hello.

I’m Alexandria Dunn and I became a therapist because I've lived it - the exhaustion of holding everything together while quietly falling apart inside. I'm a survivor of domestic violence, a recovering alcoholic, and someone who has spent years doing the deep, uncomfortable work of healing from complex trauma and codependency. I was someone who looked capable and put-together on the outside while quietly disappearing on the inside. I know what it feels like to leave therapy wanting more, to wonder if you're actually making progress or just talking in circles. But I also know what it feels like to find the right therapist, do the real work, and watch your life genuinely change because of it. That healing is possible. I've found it, and it's exactly what I want to help you find.

This is a different kind of therapy space. I show up as a real person, sometimes with well-timed humor, always with honesty - because laughter and authenticity build the kind of trust that makes hard work possible. Nothing happens here without your permission. You've spent enough time feeling out of control. So, we start where you are and move at a pace that keeps you grounded and in control.

I operate from a trauma-informed lens, which means I understand that the small things are the big things - open communication, taking our time, getting to know each other, explaining processes, understanding your needs and more. Your patterns aren't problems to fix, instead, they're messages to understand. My goal is for you to leave our sessions feeling more like yourself, not more labeled or confused. And because I believe deeply in this work, I continue my own therapy so I can show up fully for you. If you've spent your whole life being strong for everyone else, this is your space to just be.

You deserve that.

Frequently Asked Questions *

  • Yes. I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation.

This gives space to connect, clarify what you’re looking for, and determine if working together feels aligned - before you commit.

  • I do not accept insurance.

This allows me to provide a level of care that is not restricted by diagnosis requirements, session limits, or third-party involvement. It also ensures your work remains private and fully centered on your needs.

  • My work is designed for depth.

Many of the clients I work with are insightful, self-aware, and have already done some level of inner work - but still feel stuck in patterns they can’t seem to shift.

That level of work requires flexibility, honesty, and space that insurance-based models often cannot support.

Private pay allows us to work in a way that is intentional, focused, and built for lasting change.

  • Yes. All sessions are held virtually for clients located in Indiana.

This allows for consistency, privacy, and ease - so you can show up fully without the added pressure of travel or scheduling constraints.

  • This work is a strong fit if you:

Have insight into your patterns, but still feel stuck

Are ready to move beyond surface-level coping

Value honesty, depth, and meaningful change

If you’re looking for quick fixes or short-term solutions, this may not be the right space - and that clarity matters.

  • Direct. Grounded. Insight-driven.

I will meet you with honesty and clarity, while also creating a space where you feel understood and supported.

This is a space where patterns are explored deeply - and changed intentionally.

  • Most clients begin with weekly sessions.

This creates momentum and allows us to build meaningful progress early on. From there, we adjust based on your needs.

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations.

Late cancellations and missed sessions are charged at the full rate. If you’re able to reschedule within the same week, the fee may be waived.

  • If you are in immediate need of support, please contact the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (988) or call 911.

I am not a crisis service and may not be immediately available outside of scheduled sessions.
